Job Description
Approximately 40 hours a weekMonday through Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Seasonal mid-March through November 15th.
Potential Year Round
Payscale based on experience.
Starting Range $26/hr.
Ending Range $32/hr.
Who We Are Looking For:
The Candidate for Highland Trails Journeyman Level Two will have experience building and maintaining trails, equipment operation of excavators and skid steers, and have the ability to lead a group of Apprentice trail builders. Ability to ride all green, blue and black trails at the Bike Park is a must. The role will include, but is not limited to:
1 to 5 years building Freeride and Tech trails including rollers, berms and jumps.
Operate machinery to build and maintain trails.
Lead a team of apprentice trail builders.
Ability to work and plan strategy with the team leaders / Master operators.
Skills Required
Level One Journeyman.
Ability to assess and manage water flow.
Ability to act as a Project Lead and manage:
Apprentice trail builders.
Level One Journeyman operators.
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
Self-directed, requiring minimal supervision.
Must know how to safely use a chainsaw and cut large trees.
Highland Mountain trail knowledge is considered an asset.
