City of Richmond, Indiana
The City of Richmond is in East Central Indiana, located right on the Indiana/Ohio Border. It is the county seat of Wayne County and as of the 2010 census, has a population of just under 37,000 residents. The mission of the City of Richmond is to join with our community, as public servants, to make Richmond a city of the highest quality. We will provide a clean and safe environment for all citizens to live, work and play. We will provide local government services that are inclusive, responsive, cost effective and innovative.
