I coordinate and maintain data on various highway system designations for the Department. Federal Aid Systems (National Highway System), the State Highway System and U.S. Routes are developed in a cooperative process with local officials and FDOT according to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) requirements and are approved by FHWA/AASHTO before becoming effective. I also identify, coordinate and establish data efficiencies of Department multimodal data and technology for programs, studies, plans, models and databases.
