Jenn Tamo is the River People Manager for the South Yuba River Citizen's League (SYRCL) in Nevada City, CA. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in International Development and recently completed a year of service as SYRCL’s Stewardship Coordinator through the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership. In this role she managed the River Ambassador program and community outreach efforts. After her term, she was hired as the River People Manager where she works closely with SYRCL’s large volunteer base. Most recently, Jenn worked on a team to coordinate the Yuba River Cleanup in which more than 700 volunteers removed 18,000 pounds of trash from the Yuba River watershed. In her spare time, Jenn loves to practice yoga and trek through the backcountry.
