I am a seasoned trail builder who has worked on trails in New York State since 2015. I've worked with ADK’s volunteer and professional programs and for Tahawus Trails LLC. I have leadership experience and expertise in backcountry and front-country sustainable trail construction and maintenance in New York.

As ADK's Trails Manager, I am responsible for the operation and long-term development of a 16-member professional trail crew and volunteer trail work opportunities that hosts over 100 participants annually. Duties include: develop and operate within an annual budget; secure funding and projects through donations, grants and contracts; hire and train seasonal staff; plan and manage trail projects on public and private lands; perform administrative duties such as payroll, billing and invoicing; communication development; and, serve as internal and external trail work advocate and educator.

The Adirondack Mountain Club’s (ADK) mission is to protect New York State (NYS) wild lands and waters by promoting responsible outdoor recreation and building a statewide constituency of land stewardship advocates. ADK’s Trails Department provides unique professional and volunteer stewardship opportunities, education on, and advocacy for the creation and maintenance of safe, accessible, and sustainable trails on NYS wild lands.
