I'm an ecologist that works on a contract with the West Virginia Land Trust. I have a background in natural resource management, forest ecology, and trail planning/design/construction/maintenance. I have worked on trails in the ADKs, on the Superior National Forest, Monongahela National Forest, and now for the WV Land Trust. My interest is in minimal impact trails that fit into the landscape and facilitate foot traffic, but lately I have been working on mountain bike trails as well (I have been a mountain biker for 35 years). I have worked in the ski industry for most of my adult life and am an avid telemark skier.
