Taylor Broyhill is a parks, recreation, open space and trails planner with a decade of experience to advance outdoor recreation and trails projects throughout Colorado and the Southeast through creative and inclusive community outreach and multi-disciplinary collaboration. Whether planning for trails and connectivity or facilitating a long-range visioning session, Taylor aims to help communities achieve transformative and enduring results. Taylor started her career as a local government planner and GIS specialist. Her experience in both the public and private sectors provides her with a unique perspective and understanding of local government clients’ needs and their responsibilities to residents and constituents.
Trails are Taylor’s greatest passions both as a professional planner and as an avid cyclist and runner. She is fortunate to have had the opportunity to combine these passions while producing several long-distance trail plans including master plans for the City of Fort Collins, three designated state trails in North Carolina, five section plans for the 330-mile Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail, and numerous community-scale system plans. Taylor has planned over 700 miles of trails, bicycle, and pedestrian infrastructure in her career.
