Overview
OSI Instructor’s Guide to Teaching Crew Leadership for Trails was developed for any organization or land management agency that is interested in crew leadership training. This Guide has been designed to teach basic trail maintenance and construction, safety, tool use and crew leadership principles. The intent of OSI is to offer training resources that can be inserted into existing programming. Because this guide is designed to teach only basic technical and leadership skills, we recommend that crew leaders seek advanced training in order to broaden their skills and increase their knowledge.
