Overview
Hosting a Trail Skills College in the Eastern Region of the US Forest Service is a great way to support the 10 Year Trail Challenge. This document brings together the shared experiences of two Trail Skills College trainings initiated in the White Mountain National Forest and duplicated on the Mark Twain National Forest. It is our hope that this document can help to initiate Trail Skills College trainings with partners throughout the Eastern Region.
The host Forest will create a local planning committee consisting of 5-10+ individuals split up into a variety of sub-committees, all led by one local co-chair, working closely with host Forest and hosting partner staff, who will all contribute to the success of the Trail Skills College
