States and localities are beginning to recognize and act on the connection between health and transportation. TRB is hosting a webinar on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Eastern. This webinar draws on research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program.

This webinar will discuss how to leverage transportation projects to support positive health outcomes. New opportunities are developing within transportation agencies to better integrate public health concepts into transportation processes. Presenter will discuss how these opportunities align with research, data, and decision-making tools to further connect active transportation goals with improved health outcomes.
